Well, I got a call back from my doctor's office and, magically, they had a cancellation and could squeeze me in. When? February 12th. Yes, the same day they cancelled my original appointment.
I don't know if it was me bringing to their attention that there were going to be seven weeks between appointments and that I was in my 3rd trimester, but something seemed to convince them my original appointment date was still needed. I think I give too much credit to the people who make appointments for health care professionals. I assume, that when I give them my name, that they pull my chart. I assume that they take into account everything I'm not telling them when I ask for an appointment. I assume that they are aware of who I am and what my needs are when they are helping me. I think I'll stop assuming because I don't think that happens.
Either way, we're going in tomorrow and I'm excited to get this whole "birth plan talk" out of the way. We talked about creating a birth plan last night at our Bradley Class so on top of the information I got from the internet I also now have some background information too.
